Conferences
FDR was always committed to being on the forefront of training and learning, and today the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation continues the tradition by offering a comprehensive Conference Center at the Institute. The Conference and Continuing Education Center offers affordable meeting rooms, overnight accommodations, extensive recreation facilities (including golf and tennis), and a 300 seat auditorium with full A/V features. Add to that a serene setting only an hour and a half from downtown Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, a remarkable and unique history, over 60 specialty shops in the nearby village of Warm Springs and it is easy to understand why organizations continue to host meetings, retreats and workshops at the Institute. The Institute also hosts educational conferences of its own each year, most of which offer continuing education credits for various professional disciplines.
The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation offers a variety of meeting facilities conveniently located throughout the campus. These include historic Georgia Hall, the original Warm Springs Schoolhouse, and the Frank C. Ruzycki Center for Therapeutic Recreation. In addition, the Roosevelt Hall Auditorium provides a fully accessible, theater-style option for large group functions with a seating capacity of 300+. Meadows Classroom, located in Georgia Hall, can accommodate up to 100 people in a modern, centrally located classroom. In addition, the Roosevelt Private Dining Room can serve as an intimate site for small groups or functions. Classroom space in the Warm Springs Schoolhouse can accommodate meetings of up to 35 and this space is particularly appropriate for educational gatherings where instruction is provided. This space can also be accessed in conjunction with other facilities on campus for groups requiring simultaneous meeting locations. The large meeting room available at the Ruzycki Center features its own fully equipped kitchen and can easily accommodate groups of up to 50. Other space in this state-of-the-art building can also be accessed for group purposes, as well as the Camp Dream Dining Hall.

With a variety of on-campus options to consider, including hotel-style rooms, historic cottages, and the more rustic lodges of Camp Dream, Roosevelt Warm Springs can accommodate individuals, organizations or groups. All rooms are reasonably priced and convenient to meeting and recreation facilities. Kress Hall and Builders Hall, located adjacent to Georgia Hall and a part of the historic Quadrangle, offer hotel-style rooms. Private cottages, such as Peabody Cottage and Fryer Cottage, are located near outdoor recreation options and the Frank C. Ruzycki Center for Therapeutic Recreation. Camp Dream offers both the Callaway Lodge and the Lanier Lodge, which have shared bedrooms and a spacious great room, and face the beautiful Lake Dream. Accommodations can also be arranged for special events such as weddings, dinners, receptions, or even on-stage presentations. The Roosevelt Memorial Chapel, Roosevelt Hall Auditorium, and Roosevelt Memorial Golf Course Clubhouse add to the unique options available through Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation Conference & Continuing Education Center. On-campus food service is available through Valley Services, the same vendor that provides three meals each day in the Georgia Hall Dining Room.
