The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation has been providing medical rehabilitation services ever since FDR brought the first doctors and physiotherapists to Warm Springs to create an international treatment setting for polio patients. That legacy continues today with a full array of medical rehabilitation services, including both inpatient hospitalization and outpatient services. A team of physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, respiratory therapists, recreational therapists, psychologists, dieticians and other professional staff are dedicated to a comprehensive, hands-on approach to maximize the functional gains and health improvement for each patient. This commitment to mind, body and spirit is referred to as the
"Roosevelt Way".
