For eight decades, Roosevelt Warm Springs has been “empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve personal independence” by creating hope and possibilities for those who have had life-altering and often life-shattering experiences. We serve as a living legacy; a testament to President Roosevelt, who envisioned a beautiful and benevolent campus dedicated to the rehabilitation of the mind, body and spirit. Roosevelt Warm Springs remains solidly committed to that mission, as we strive to renew our methods and expand our culture of compassionate care and expertise. Through the efforts of our dedicated and caring staff and board of trustees, individuals with disabilities begin to see renewed potential and opportunity in their lives.
Through an annual gift to the Roosevelt Warm Springs Development Fund, you can become a member of the Georgia Hall Society. The Annual Fund is an essential funding source that allows the Development Fund to address ongoing and emerging needs on an annual basis. It is therefore our first priority when raising funds to fulfill the mission of the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.
Much as a motorized wheelchair provides freedom for our patients, the Annual Fund provides the wheels to keep Institute operations moving during the fiscal year. Due to their unrestricted nature, gifts to the Annual Fund allow the Development Fund to allocate the funds where they are most needed and to supplement and leverage other funding sources. Every gift matters regardless of how large or small and we are grateful for the giving spirit behind a donor’s gift.
Our heritage exemplifies vision and leadership. We challenge ourselves to meet the future with equal foresight and strength of character. Quite simply, we ask for your support because it matters. Become a part of the living legacy today and experience firsthand how your gift will impact the lives of people with disabilities.
