Volunteers

Historically, volunteers have always played a significant role at the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation. Volunteers assist in many ways, including helping individuals receiving medical or vocational rehabilitation services, sunshine carts, recreational activities, campus beautification, occupational aides, and clerical and administrative support. Despite giving of their time and talents without monetary remuneration, volunteers at the Institute do receive certain benefits. These include:

  • Complimentary Meals
  • Membership at the Center for Therapeutic Recreation
  • Complimentary Golf
  • Annual Health Fair
  • Tax Deductions
  • Education and Career Development
  • Program Recognition
