Though she misses the spicy foods of Cajun Country, Katy Abney moved to Georgia after graduating from Louisiana State University in 1997. She has since been caring for patients as an Occupational Therapist at Roosevelt Warm Springs, a spirit-filled place where she met her husband 10 years ago. With no children of her own, she is dedicated to the education and mentoring of occupational therapy students and she has been coordinating the intern program for the past four years. She is active in her church and family life and hobbies include reading, traveling, music and other outdoor activities.
