Services
Medical – Today, Roosevelt Warm Springs continues its long and storied tradition of quality rehabilitative care with two hospitals and proven outpatient services. Prospective inpatients will be referred to either the Long Term Acute Care Hospital or the Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. Outpatient services include the Foot & Ankle Clinic, Wound Care, Outpatient Therapy, Rehabilitation Technology, a Seating & Wheeled Mobility Clinic, and Post-Polio Services, and some of these services are also offered at off-campus sites in LaGrange and Newnan.
Vocational – For almost 50 years, Roosevelt Warm Springs has provided proven vocational rehabilitation for Georgia. Providing independent living skills, academic services and job skills training, the vocational program is designed to evaluate, equip and return young Georgians with special needs to their home communities, using individualized plans to promote and achieve as much independence as possible. Residents are housed in a new, state-of-the-art complex.
Recreation – With facilities like the Ruzycki Center for Therapeutic Recreation, Camp Dream, Roosevelt Memorial Golf Course and the Rotary International Tennis Center, Roosevelt Warm Springs is well positioned to offer recreation services for a wide array of individuals and groups. In addition to a complete vocational recreation program, Roosevelt Warm Springs features community-based recreation programs and international wheelchair sports competitions.
Conferences – Under the direction of a Conference and Continuing Education Department, Roosevelt Warm Springs has the meeting space, accommodations, food service, tour options and recreation facilities to host almost any size group or function. Two large, AV-equipped auditoriums and complete on-site food service are just two of the reasons to consider this historic, 940-acre campus for your next conference or special event.
Career Center – Under the direction of the LaGrange Office of the Georgia Department of Labor, a new GDOL Career Center is now open in historic Georgia Hall. In addition to serving all Roosevelt Warm Springs vocational clients, the new Career Center will provide complete GDOL services for the entire community.
